How a score is earned

Read the resume before scoring it

Each applicable check earns full, half, or no credit, and keeps the sentence it used. Checks that cannot be assessed are left out of the score.

  1. 30 of 100

    1. Machine readability

The text can be recovered, the reading order is intact, and characters are not broken.

  2. 25 of 100

    2. Sections and fields

Contact, experience or projects, education, and skills can be recognised.

  3. 15 of 100

    3. Chronology

Dates can be read, and each role stays tied to its employer and dates.

  4. 15 of 100

    4. Clarity

Experience lines are specific, and the headings and wording stay consistent.

  5. 15 of 100

    5. Achievement evidence

A line shows scope or an outcome you can verify, and it says what you did.

When the number stays hidden

If extraction fails, or if too little of the rubric can be assessed, the summary says so and still shows the findings that have a quote. Skill demand stays unavailable until licensed job sources are connected.
